Park it for the winter without flat-spotting the tires.
Race Ramps FlatStoppers are lightweight curved tire supports that spread your car's weight across more of the tire during long-term storage. That helps prevent the flat spots that cause vibration when you pull the car back out.
Watch it
In this video, Race Ramps shows FlatStoppers, its tire storage ramps. The description says they're solid dense foam with a non-slip outer layer that won't skid or scratch floors. It also says they don't pass floor temperature to the tires, so they work in hot or cold garages. Watch on YouTube.

What's built into it
- Curved cradle. The curved surface supports more of the tire than a flat floor, which helps prevent flat spots.
- Foam core, tough coating. Super light, and the textured coating resists water and automotive fluids.
- Low approach angle. 8.9° lets most low cars drive on without scraping.
- Made in the USA. Built by Race Ramps.
The Gearhead Take
What real owners are saying, filtered through 20+ years of wrenching, wheeling and selling truck gear. No fluff, just what matters before you buy.
- Light and easy to use. Owners say they're light, easy to drive onto, and that their cars came out of storage without flat spots or vibration.
- Not every tire is a fit. One owner still saw flat spots on one brand of tire, and another said large tires push the limits. They're built for cars on 25- to 30-inch tires up to 12 inches wide, not SUVs or trucks on mud tires.
- Pick the right width. This is the 14-inch-wide version. Race Ramps makes a narrower version for tires up to 8 inches wide.
FAQ
Will they work on my car?
They fit tires up to 12 inches wide and 25 to 30 inches in diameter, with 1,500 lbs capacity per support. That covers most cars and sports cars. They aren't made for pickups or SUVs on mud tires.
How high do they lift the car?
Barely. They cradle the tire instead of lifting the car. On a level floor, expect well under an inch of rise.
Can I leave the car on them all winter?
Yes. That's what they're built for. Many owners also bump tire pressure a little above normal for storage. Just don't exceed the sidewall max, and reset it before driving.
Will they slide or mark my floor?
Race Ramps says they won't skid or scratch floors, including concrete, epoxy and tile.
How it compares

- Check fit: RR-FS is 14 in wide for tires up to 12 in wide and 25-30 in tall. The 10 in version handles tires up to 8 in wide.
- Line each ramp up with the tread, steering straight, and drive on slowly until the tire settles in the cradle.
- Set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
- Use them for storage of about 30 days or more. Use jack stands if anyone works under the car.
